The Start of my story
It all started with a gift.
It was Christmas of 2011 and a friend surprised me with his camera after I had expressed interest several months before. There were a few tears...okay maybe lots of tears...but to this date, that gift has been the most thoughtful gift I have ever received. A simple gesture that lit a fire in my soul.
My passion for photography took off from there, and several months later I booked my first wedding –– a small intimate backyard wedding. I loved every single moment of that wedding. There were tears in my eyes as the beautiful bride walked down the aisle and I knew that capturing love in one of its truest forms was something that my heart was called to do.
There’s just something so special about creating and capturing these perfect moments in time — an excited senior getting ready to start planning for their future, a young couple in love as they journey from “Yes” to “ I Do," to the sweet first time parents anticipating the arrival of their first babe, and the parents with several kiddos and still madly in love — I just can’t get enough!
