Colleen and Kevins’s wedding at St. Francis Hall in Washington, DC was such a beautiful day. St. Francis Hall in Washington, DC is a hidden gem of a wedding venue with access to the gardens at the Monastery next door for some extra gorgeous photos. The high ceilings, old details, and stage set the perfect space for live entertainement and a spacious dance floor.

Emerald Green and Gold Wedding Details

Colleen and Kevin's details were full of deep colors, classic white florals, and elegant touches. The florals included whites and greens, and their bridal party wore deep emerald green dresses, and the men wore black tuxes. Their invitation suite was a classic white with gold font. Colleen's veil and pearl shoes stole the show for my favorite wedding details of the day... let's not forget Kevin's look though. His black tux and velvet loafers were a cool way to showcase his personal style.

Getting Ready at The Mayflower Hotel in Washington DC

While Kevin spent time with his guys in the their suite at the Mayflower hotel, Colleen and her bridal party got ready a few floors below them. Colleen’s bridal style was giving old hollywood vibes from her loose curls to her lace gown, that I am obsessed with, I couldn’t get enough of her bridal look and emerald colored wedding details. Colleen did a reveal with her dad before we left for the ceremony and it was such a sweet moment.

St. Francis Hall Wedding Venue

St. Francis Hall is such a gorgeous wedding venue showcasing a large open ceiling room with a stage, gorgeous wood floors just perfect for a wedding day. Colleen and Kevin added gorgeous florals that made the hall reception space just gorgeous. The twinkle lights also added to the charm in the evening.

We captured Colleen and Kevin's first look portraits around the historic Mayflower Hotel and urban DC city streets. Lots of cars beeped their congratulations as we captured their portraits.

We had so much fun with Colleen and Kevin's bridal party, creating lots of fun memories while capturing their images. They both rocked their individual portraits too.

Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle Wedding Ceremony Washington, DC

Kevin was all smiles as he saw Colleen coming down the aisle, and there was so much joy from their family and friends as they were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. The beautiful church was stunning for their traditional Catholic wedding ceremony.

After their ceremony we headed over to St. Francis Hall and captured some bridal portraits at blue hour in the monastery gardens next door. I absolutely love these moody images of the two of them.

During the reception, Colleen and Kevin shared their first dance, heartfelt speeches were shared, they did a photo dash to each table for a fun photo, and we had a dance party like none other. I don't think I've ever seen a more packed dance floor and we know it was because of Big Ray and the Kool Kats making the music and party flow. It was an unforgettable day for everyone.

Colleen and Kevin’s Washington DC Wedding day was full of classic colors, sweet emotional moments, and the dance party of a lifetime. From their sweet first look at the hotel, their traditional ceremony, to their food and entertainment, every detail felt so uniquely them. Spending the day with this couple and their loved ones was an honor, and I’m so blessed to have captured their amazing love story!
