Sydney and Bret’s wedding at The Barn at Stoner Commons in Lancaster, Pennsylvania was such a colorful, emotion-filled day. The Barn at Stoner Commons is fun wedding venue - just minutes away from Lancaster, PA. They have an outdoor ceremony space as well as indoor options. Due to the rain on Sydney and Bret's day we had to do plan B and move everything indoors to accommodate the weather. The power went out a few times during their ceremony but quickly came back on as we battled a pretty bad storm.
Colorful Wedding Details
Sydney and Bret's details were full of bright colors, funky florals, and rustic inspired details. The florals included pops of blue, orange, white and green, and their bridal party wore blue and burnt orange mismatched dresses, and classic navy blue suits. Their invitation suite channeled twilight vibes, and I think Sydney's lace long sleeve gown stole the show for my favorite wedding detail of the day.
Getting Ready at The Barn at Stoner Commons
While Bret spent time with his guys in the groom's suite- the billiards room down below the barn, Sydney and her bridal party got ready upstairs in the barn loft area. Sydney’s bridal style was so classic, from her long sleeve chic bridal gown to her gorgeous bridal updo, that I am obsessed with, I couldn’t get enough of her bridal look and colorful wedding details. After she finished getting ready we met her dad outside for a sweet first look moment.

The Barn at Stoner Commons Wedding Venue
The Barn at Stoner Commons is such a fun local wedding venue that is just steps away from my favorite local park for photos. Sydney and Bret added bright colored florals and rustic touches that made the indoor reception space super fun.
Bride and Groom Portraits at The Barn at Stoner Commons
We captured Sydney and Bret's portraits around the gorgeous grounds of the Barn at Stoner Commons, and at Overlook Park which is right next to the Barn. Due to the rainstorm we were limited to the porches and using an umbrella and I drove them to each location to help keep them as dry as possible. The forested area at Overlook Park made for some extra dreamy rainy day wedding portraits and they are my favorites.

We had so much fun with Sydney and Bret's bridal party creating lots of fun memories while capturing their images. We are always about having fun on your wedding day especially with your people!
The Barn at Stoner Commons Wedding Ceremony
Bret shed a few tears as Sydney walked down the aisle to become his wife, and there was so much joy as they exchanged vows. Their joyful walk back down the aisle as Mr. and Mrs. was the most fun!
The Barn at Stoner Commons Wedding Reception
During the reception, Sydney and Bret shared their first dance, they shared sweet parent dances, there were emotional speeches, and guests danced the night away. You can tell how much fun everyone was having by looking at these fun reception photos.
Sydney and Bret’s wedding at The Barn at Stoner Commons was full of special moments, bright colors, and so much joy. From their love filled ceremony, rainy wedding day portraits and intimate first dance, every detail felt so uniquely them. Spending the day with this couple and their loved ones was an honor, and I’m so blessed to have captured their amazing love story!
